Steel wire of State Standard GOST 3282-74
Low-carbon general purpose steel wire of State Standard GOST 3282-74 is used for manufacturing of circular section clips applied for fastening Egoza razor wire threads or coils when manufacturing flat or concertina barriers of different types and purposes. When manufacturing spiral obstacles of small and medium diameter, GOST 3282-74 steel rope’s strength is sufficient enough to ensure safe fastening of Egoza barbed wire coils. Wire of State Standard GOST 3282-74 secures effective fastening of Egoza threads or coils during all the period of a barrier’s usage.
Steel low-carbon wire of State Standard GOST 3282-74 is made of a diameter from 0.16 to 10.0 mm with galvanized coating or ungalvanized. In clips manufacturing for reinforced barbed tape Egoza, low-carbon steel wire of GOST 3282-74 of a diameter 2.5 mm and more with high quality galvanized coating is used, which protects clips against rust. Low-carbon general purpose steel wire of GOST 3282-74 is also used during installation work for fastening of Egoza barbed wire and of Egoza security barriers to holders, rails and auxiliary metal constructions.
