Egoza barbed tape
Egoza barbed tape is the basis of the most widespread wire-reinforced barbed tape type of which several types of Egoza razor wire which have optimal price/quality ratio can be produced. This type of barbed tape is sold at an affordable price and at the same time it is of protective characteristics sufficient for wide range of objects to be secured – from small private ones or commercial constructions to territories of big industrial, commercial or special purpose objects.
Egoza barbed wire has thickness from 0.5 to 0.55 mm and is 19 mm in width. Part of Egoza tape designed for wire pressing is produced 7.5 mm in width and can be effectively fixed on steel wire from 2.4 to 3.0 mm in diameter, diameter of reinforced Egoza barbed tape in such case will vary from 3.4 till 4.1 mm. If tape of a smaller diameter is needed Concertina barbed tape should be applied and if of a bigger diameter – Egoza-Super razor wire should be used which gives a possibility of pressing the core 4 mm in diameter.
Caiman manufactures Egoza barbed wire by cold punching method of coiled galvanized steel of State Standard GOST 14918-80 from 0.5 to 0.55 mm in width and qualitatively galvanized. Technology of production and punches for Egoza barbed wire production are protected by patents of Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. Egoza punching is made on modern automatic presses which enable to get a qualitative product without any defects of zinc coating, what is extremely important from the viewpoint of further Egoza barbed wire protection against atmospheric factors.
