Caiman Razor Wire and Barriers Marking

The Caiman Production Group produces a wide range of products, including six types of Egoza razor wire, concertina security barriers with diameters from 400 to 2400 mm, a dozen types of flat security barriers, Caiman pyramidal barriers of various designs and configurations, Cobra double spiral barriers, Piranha razor mesh and much more.

In order to avoid confusion, we developed a special product labeling system, so that it was immediately clear what kind of product we are talking about, and what are its main parameters. In general, product labeling includes the brand and the main technical parameters of the product.

The classification system for barbed wire and razor wire security barriers of the Caiman Production Group is quite simple, intuitive and informative. But, given the fact that we produce more than a hundred different types of barriers, it is better to consider the labeling of products by barbed wire and each type of barbed-cutting barriers separately. The labeling principle is the same, but sometimes differs in detail.

Please note: in the English version of the classification, transliteration of the marking of razor wire and security barriers from the Ukrainian or Russian language is used and is provided solely for informational purposes. In the case of real export deliveries of our products, their labeling is agreed with customers, taking into account their requirements for product labeling. The Egoza trademark is registered according to the Madrid system, and we have the right to label products shipped to 99 countries. Other trademarks are registered in Ukraine and are indicated in the form of transliteration from Ukrainian or Russian for informational purposes.

Concertina Security Barriers

Concertina security barriers are marked with an indication of the type of barrier, the type of razor wire, the diameter of the concertina barrier in the transport position and the number of clips installed on a pair of coil turns. It should be noted that when the concertina is stretched to the recommended length, its diameter will decrease by 10-12%, and when the concertina is stretched to a length greater than recommended, it will further reduce the diameter of the concertina barrier and reduce its protective properties.

Flat Security Barriers

Flat security barriers are marked with an indication of the type of barriers, the type of razor wire and the diameter of the turn of a flat barrier. 600 series flat barriers are 6 meters long, 750 series – 7.5 meters respectively. Unlike a concertina barrier, a flat barrier during installation does not change its length.

Razor Mesh

Razor mesh is marked with an indication of the brand and the size of the mesh in a roll. Razor mesh is available under the Piranha brand name. The razor mesh is made of reinforced barbed tape RW "Concertina" and has a roll length of 6 meters, as well as from the reinforced barbed tape RW "Egoza-Caiman" and has a roll length of 10 meters. When mounting the Piranha razor mesh, its length remains practically unchanged.

Razor Wire Network

The razor wire network is marked with an indication of the type of obstacle, trademark, number of spirals, diameter of spiral obstacles and the number of staples on a pair of spiral turns. Since the razor wire network is specially designed for entanglement in it, spirals do not hold cylindrical shape well, and the length of the fence during installation can vary significantly.

Double concertina Security Barrier

The double concertina security barrier is marked with the type of barrier, trademark, diameter of the inner spiral and the diameter of the outer spiral in the transport position. When stretched to the recommended length, the diameter of the spirals decreases by 10-12%. Stretching a double helical fence beyond the recommended length is highly discouraged.

Pyramidal Security Barriers

Pyramidal security barriers are marked with the type of barriers, trademark, the number of concertinas and their diameters in the transport position, as well as the number of clips installed on a pair of spiral turns. When the pyramidal security barrier is stretched to the recommended length, the concertina diameters decrease by 10-12%, accordingly, the height of the pyramidal barrier decreases. Stretching a pyramidal security barrier beyond the recommended length is highly discouraged.
